My original vision was to wear something much more fitted trumpet style than this one with a lighter fabric. I'm petite at 5'1 so I thought a thicker fabric would overwhelm me. I did try on several different dresses, but when I tried this one on it was just ME! Simply put.

This is definitely NOT a good photo of the dress at all. The dress in the photo is Champagne in color, whereas, mine is Diamond White. The fabric is silk Taffeta with VERY slight ruching in the bodice and waistline . The beadwork on the bodice and left hip is VERY shiny and sparkly (Just as I like it!) It also has a longer train which is hardly visible in this photo.

This was the only photo I could find online of the back of the dress.

Shoes

It took me soo long to find shoes! I'm just really picky!

I will be wearing these shoes with my dress. Yes, they look high but that's how I like them! I actually find flats to be more uncomfortable than any high heel.

Bridesmaids Dresses

We got the dresses from David's Bridal and ordered them in the marine color. We are also making satin sashes in a lighter blue color to add some more texture and visual interest (goes along with the color scheme).
