Sarah & David

Apex Suite at Planet Hollywood

Reception to follow at 7:00PM.

We were originally planned to have our reception at Joe's Seafood Prime Steak and Stone Crab but had a last minute change of plans. Less people were going than we had originally thought so we didn't see the need to spend so much on room minimums at Joe's.

So onto the Apex Suite. This was SUCH a tough decision for me because I wanted to make sure there would be ample space even though we will only have between 30 and 40 people. We had the Boulevard Suite for 2 nights but it just seemed so small to me, so we decided to just do the Apex for just 1 night (although it would be nice to have peace of mind and have it for 2 nights, but at $1600/nt for FRI and SAT night we decided against it). I really fought with the orange furnishings in the space! I hate it! So we are going to try and remove most of the orange ottomans and remove the orange pillows and place them in the second bedroom. As for the couch, I was just going to buy some blankets to throw over the back to mask as much orange as possible! Another concern of mine was being able to check in early enough to move things around so we did ask for early check in if possible. If all else fails at least David and I will be taking photos for a few hours prior to our actual ceremony so my mom and other family members have agreed to help with set up while were off doing that. We'll figure it out!

Catering and Beverages

Masterpiece Cuisine

We decided to go with Masterpiece Cuisine of course because of all the wonderful reviews from the Las Vegas knotties. Thank you everyone for helping us make all of our decisions!

We are ordering 6 appetizers and chocolate covered strawberries to go along with dessert. We haven't finalized our choices yet, but here are the contenders:

Three Cheese Tortellini Kabobs

Vegetable Pasta Salad or Caesar Salad

Teriyaki Chicken Skewers

Mini Gourmet Sliders (Tri Tip)

Assorted Deep Dish Pizza Puffs

Masterpiece Bruschetta

Cocktails

We also have Masterpiece bringing in alcohol, garnishes and a bartender (so we don't have to worry about it). We do have some family members coming that are pretty religious and do not drink, so I plan on asking about doing up a mixture of alcoholic and non-alcoholic cocktails.
